We walked through the Death Valley and it wasn't even scary...

We got the idea of this trip from a National Geographic story.

The Death Valley National Park is not that far from where we live. That's if we could fly. Unfortunately, we had to drive and all roads leading there are closed for the winter season because of the snow. So we had to go all the way around: first north-east to lake Tahoe and then south to Death Valley.
